PROACT: enabling Pro-Active Maintenance in the grid

A pro-active system solution using PQ data and AI for trend forecasts that can be used to avoid severe disturbances, and a WEB-based visual interface. The solution can be integrated with existing DSO/TSO systems and used for trend forecasting for different KPIs (energy, power and disturbance classification). Used by utilities and industrial facilities this will add value to existing PQ systems that only provide historical data analysis.

Event Ranking Index METU

An Event Ranking Index (ERI) is developed to rank the effects of an event to each customer in a given distribution network. A DSO can use ERI to understand how severely the customers are affected, and take precautions accordingly. Measurement placement for power quality observability and suggestions for reduced cost of installation are given.
